Yesterday was the momentous day that the baby's nursery was painted! Rachel's Dad came down to help out and I was sent downstairs away from the fumes (to plan maths, excitingly enough). However, I did nip up to see how they were getting on regularly, and to take progress photographs.
Here's how the nursery looked, nearly emptied of the last few things which we'd left in there:
A dustsheet was laid down and the frog tape was carefully applied by Rachel:
Then, with great excitement, Rachel began the cutting in:
It being a small room, and Rachel and her Dad being really efficient, soon it was nearly all done!
And here is the finished colour...although this photo has come out a little dark, which is disappointing.
And yes, we know that left hand window is hanging off at a funny angle - the clip keeps coming undone so it goes all skew-whiff.
Here - look at the colour in this picture - the room is a mess, but the colour is better:
We're very pleased with it, and it matches the fabric beautifully.
