The last time I reported on the progress of our chest of drawers in the "cloakroom", it was looking like this. Neatly painted, but not as vibrant as it could be.
It's taken me a fair while to get around to ordering décopatch paper of appropriate colours and a little longer to make a start on the décopatching.
But last night I needed a distraction from my painfully spasmy ribcage (thanks to advanced pregnancy and a nasty cough), so I settled down to some therapeutic gluing and sticking.
I'd expected only to get half done, but it was actually a speedy job, while we watched Britain's Got Talent.
I've had to paint a couple more of the knobs and switch them round, because the blue knobs were getting lost on the décopatched drawer.
NOW it looks properly funky!
I'm tempted to décopatch the top of it too - what do you think? Too much?
